Safeguard Completes Divestment of Solutions Las Vegas businesses to Bimsters, LLC.

Sale Fulfills Lifelong Dream of Business Ownership for Female Distributor

LAS VEGAS, NV – Safeguard is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the sale of its Solutions Las Vegas business to new franchisee Bimsters, LLC.  Bimsters is owned by siblings Kim Bassett and Damon Stephens, who are also leaders in the California based franchise, Octa Marketing Group, LLC, which operates the Safeguard by Fontis business. Kim will be responsible for operating the Las Vegas location, helping her fulfill her lifelong dream of business ownership.

“I wanted to be able to create a lasting legacy for my children and for future generations of my family to come. This transaction gets me one step closer to accomplishing that goal,” said Kim Bassett. “I am eager to jump into a role that gives me the opportunity to use all of the tools I’ve gained throughout my professional career, and having a large support system with my brother, husband and the Safeguard team gives me peace of mind knowing that I’m not alone on this journey.”

Prior to joining Safeguard, Kim spent five years in an account management role with Word Perfect, helping to drive relationships with the company’s largest clients. When her husband graduated from college, Kim took on a full-time role as a mother, helping to raise their six children. As her children grew up, Kim transitioned back into the workforce and held a variety of customer-facing roles in retail, marketing and sales. Now, with Bimsters, she hopes to use her relationship building skills to serve other female business owners, like herself, throughout the greater Las Vegas area.

I love being able to connect with a person, identify their needs and deliver on it, and that’s exactly in-line with Safeguard’s business philosophy. I bring both the ability to deliver and provide quality customer service to the table, and I know that will help drive our success in Las Vegas.”
